A closing door creates 40 tonnes of pressure at the hinge side: this can cause life changing injuries. Traditional doorstops only hold a door from one side. A draught, a pet, or a curious toddler can dislodge them in seconds. Jamm doorstops don't move.
Invented by a Dad
In 2011, Marc and Coralie Ward's three-year-old son Oscar jammed his fingers in a door at the family home in Cornwall. Marc searched for a doorstop that worked. When he couldn't find one. He designed it himself. 18 months and 14 prototypes later, the Jamm Doorstop was born.
Designed and manufactured in the UK. Built by a Dad who wanted to keep his family safe and avoid the impact of door slamming accidents.
